Hi, I’m Lauren (but you can call me Lo... shhh, don’t tell my mom), a mental health professional, creative, entrepreneur, and founder of Hey Leaux Wellness.

My journey began in my family’s beauty salon, founded by my grandmother nearly 50 years ago, where I started working alongside my mom, grandmother, and aunts at just 12 years old. That experience shaped my work ethic and taught me the value of connection and creating safe spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued.

I later became a makeup artist before transitioning into nonprofit leadership and community work supporting youth and families. That path eventually led me into the mental health field as a clinician. Looking back, each chapter of my journey has served as a building block for the next. I often say that I have one purpose that occupies multiple spaces.

The name Hey Leaux comes from a nickname I've carried for years. When family and friends see me, I'm often greeted with a simple, "Hey, Lo." That spirit of connection, warmth, and belonging is at the heart of this work.

Hey Leaux Wellness was created from a simple belief: wellness is a pathway to wholeness. Through practical tools and resources, I help professionals, entrepreneurs, and individuals live with greater confidence, intention, and purpose so they can build healthier, more fulfilling lives, just as I have been able to do through the support, encouragement, and care of those who helped me navigate life's peaks and valleys.

My hope is that you leave this site with something tangible—something that supports you in living well and becoming more of who you were created to be.
